Who we are?
Graduated in physical education, with more than 20 years parading for various samba schools, Carla Campos created a Brazilian Swing class in which she taught a mix of rhythms, such as maracatu, samba de roda, dance of the orixás, frevo.
He adapted and patented the technique of the classes in 1997 for the Luiza Brunet model, formed shortly after the first group of Samba Fit.
Since then, Carla has been teaching and gaining recognition in Brazil and internationally.
Carla has taught classes in several countries such as Austria, Finland,
Franco-Brazilian, born in Venezuela, Gabriela grew up in the middle of Latin music and dances. She worked for several years in the area of communication and events on several continents, and returned to Rio in 2018, where she started to attend Samba Fit classes.
In 2020, after parading several times at Marques de Sapucaí, he decided, with Carla's encouragement, to graduate and teach the Samba Fit modality.
Samba fit Brasil is a physical training modality that provides physical balance, improving conditioning and body posture. Increases self-confidence, combining sensuality, charm, elegance and joy.
Classes are divided into three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced.
The difficulty of the choreography increases according to the level.
With an average duration of one hour, the Samba Fit class brings joy and well-being.
In addition to improving physical fitness, the sport burns 500 calories per class, similar to a spinning class that works the whole body, especially the glutes, quadriceps, thigh, calves and abdomen.
Located in Ipanema in Rio de Janeiro, Samba Fit adapts to all ages, knows no borders or time zones, unites diverse cultures. In the past few months, it has known how to overcome the challenges of the pandemic, providing personalized online classes on 5 continents.
